The Michigan State Police is seeking a General Office Assistant to perform clerical duties and support administrative tasks within a positive work environment. Performs various clerical duties, including but not limited to data entry, typing and composing routine correspondence, checking for correct grammar, spelling, and letter format, retrieving and compiling data, and preparing reports. Operate standard office equipment such as calculators, copiers, computer with appropriate software usage, facsimile machines, TDD, and mail distribution. Assist with phone coverage activities and receptionist responsibilities. Support customer's and vendors' activities, both in person and via telephone.
