Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, in collaboration with Weill Cornell Medicine, seeks an experienced Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The clinician will deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care and contribute to teaching and research.

The role includes outpatient care, in-house labor and delivery coverage, and involvement in CME and quality initiatives within a nationally competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Must have medical degree and completed a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency.
• Board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Must have or obtain a New York State Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient obstetric and gynecologic care.
• Provide in-house labor and delivery call coverage and deliver obstetrical patients.
• Care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
• Perform gynecologic surgeries.
• Participate in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives.

General Obstetrics and Gynecology Faculty - NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Lower Manhattan Hospital

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking an experienced physician who is committed to an academic career in General Obstetrics & Gynecology. The position will hold a rank of Assistant Professor and will be based at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital

Under the direction of the Site Chief, the Obstetrician & Gynecologist will:

• Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting including antepartum visits, preventive and problem-based gynecologic care and performing office procedures.
• Provide in-house labor and delivery call coverage and deliver obstetrical patients in our newly renovated labor and delivery and pos partum unit which handles more than 2,000 deliveries annually.
• Care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
• Perform gynecologic surgeries.
• Participate in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned by the Site Chief and Chair

Salary Range: $300,000-330,000

Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.
