Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologists for its practices in Hewlett and Wantagh, NY!

Mount Sinai South Nassau is an award-winning, acute care, not-for-profit teaching hospital located in Oceanside, New York. Our dedicated staff serves the entire South Shore, from the Rockaways in Queens to the Massapequas and beyond. We offer quality, compassionate care on our main campus in Oceanside, plus nine other satellite facilities in the region. Mount Sinai South Nassau is one of the region’s largest hospitals, with 455 beds, more than 900 physicians and 3,500 employees. It is designated a Magnet hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for outstanding nursing care. Mount Sinai South Nassau has been delivering exceptional patient care for over 80 years.

Mount Sinai South Nassau will renovate and convert the 60,000-square foot building at 2020 Wantagh Avenue to a state-of-the-art, multi-specialty healthcare center. Mount Sinai Doctors Five Towns is a multispecialty group practice located in the town of Hewlett on the South Shore of Long Island. They offer adult primary care, and a variety of specialties including endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and adolescent medicine and pulmonary medicine. Radiology services are on site.

The ideal candidates will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to mission of Mount Sinai Health System. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with world renowned, Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Cardiology is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care. Position Description

• Full-time Non-Invasive Cardiologist
• Work with a variety of specialties including primary care, specialty care, women’s health services (OB/GYN), endocrinology and more
• Serve a diverse population and live in a highly desirable neighborhood with excellent school districts
• The Practice is part of the renowned Mount Sinai Heart, a world-class tertiary/quaternary cardiac and surgical care program
• Support staff: Medical assistants, techs and office staff
  
  

Position Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Non-Invasive Cardiology
• Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System

Compensation range from 350K to 575K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
