Job Description

Position Description: Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and experienced general neurologist with a specific interest and expertise in managing concussion. The ideal candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in neurology and have a strong background in diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions, with a focus on concussion and mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI). Along with our state-of-the-art facility, we also have a fully outfitted neuro rehab center on sight with a highly trained team of therapists.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with concussion, mTBI, and other general neurological conditions through comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, including medication management, cognitive rehabilitation, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including autonomic neurology, headache neurology, allergy and immunology, physical/ occupational and speech therapists, and other specialists, to provide coordinated care to patients.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about concussion management, symptoms, and prevention strategies.
• Participate in research initiatives related to concussion and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of neurology.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in neurology.
• Fellowship training or equivalent experience in concussion management preferred.
• Valid medical license and ability to practice medicine in the state of Utah.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
