OSF HealthCare's Illinois Neurological Institute is seeking an outpatient neurologist to join one other full-time neurologist and two advanced practice providers in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois.

All subspecialties are welcome; epilepsy, sleep, and neurophysiology (EEG/EMG) are well supported to enhance patient care and program growth. The position may offer academic collaboration with University of Illinois College of Medicine at Bloomington.

Qualifications

• Physician licensed to practice medicine in Illinois.
• DEA/Il licensing to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• Board certified or board eligible in neurology or related specialty.
• Must be eligible for Medicare/Medicaid and federal programs.
• Must meet OSF malpractice coverage qualifications.

JOB SPECIFICS

• Illinois Neurological Institute is seeking an outpatient neurologist to join one other fulltime neurologist and 2 APPs

• All subspecialties welcome- though Epilepsy, Sleep, and Neurophysiology (EEG/EMG) well supported

• Access to a growing Neurosurgery practice and Interventional Neurology program to support stroke care

• Potential academic opportunity with Family Practice residents from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Bloomington

• No Hospital Call

• Strong referral base from OSF Medical group and Primary Care physicians in the area

• Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $314,137-$450,000.

• Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.

• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

• Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.

• Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
