Meijer Great Lakes in Evansville, IN, is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are fully stocked and ready for customers. This entry-level position emphasizes friendly service, efficient merchandising, and teamwork within a fast-paced retail setting.

You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, pull backstock, and help keep the store clean while working overnight shifts to prepare for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• 180+ attendees? (note: 18+ age requirement)
• Must be able to learn and use basic technology
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move products from pallets or carts to shelves accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

This position will be responsible for delivering remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude. This entry level team member position will be exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.

Candidate must be at least 18 years of age.

Candidate must be available to work Tuesday into Wednesday overnight.

What You'll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
