Job summary

Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader to drive guest experience and lead hourly team members on the General Merchandise floor. You will oversee daily operations, merchandising, pricing, and stock availability while coaching the team to deliver outstanding service.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and a proven ability to manage workload and meet sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop hourly team members.
• Experience running daily/weekly store operations and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure team members are trained and consistently deliver on Target’s guest experience commitments and operations.
• Lead the execution of daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals.
• Coach and develop hourly team members and interview, hire, and retain talent.
• Model and lead safety, ethics, and compliance across store operations.
