Target is seeking a General Merchandise Team Leader to drive guest experience and sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will lead hourly team members, manage daily workflows, and ensure product availability, pricing, and signage across GM areas.

The role emphasizes coaching, accountability, and collaboration with leaders to achieve store priorities and provide a safe, inclusive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture on your team.
• Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends and promotions strategies.
• Leading a team by planning workload and delivering sales goals with leadership alignment.
• Coaching and training hourly team members to build a strong team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments to create a consistent, easy and friendly experience.
• Ensure team members are trained and consistently deliver on guest experience and operations.
• Observe, provide feedback, and recognize great guest moments while driving results.
• Lead daily/weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals and guest engagement.
• Oversee pick, pack, and ship fulfillment where applicable and monitor fulfillment reporting.
