As a team member, you’ll maintain store presentation, replenish stock, train staff, and help drive sales with a customer-centric approach, while adhering to SOPs and budget goals. This role offers growth and competitive pay with weekly earnings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one-year experience in a general merchandise department.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store appearance with emphasis on prime shopping hours and presentation.
• Ensure the store is guest ready through effective replenishment.
• Order general merchandise from approved suppliers and communicate with vendors.
• Support strategies to drive store sales with a customer-centric mindset.
• Adjust schedules and priorities to meet business needs.
• Review department records to meet budget objectives.
• Analyze sales reports and optimize product movement across channels.
• Audit procedures to ensure SOP compliance.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide excellent service.
• Instruct and evaluate department staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Verify billing and paperwork; report discrepancies to control costs.
• Develop display techniques and tag products.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain store appearance with a focus on prime shopping hours, product presentation and company standards.
• Ensure the store is always guest ready through effective replenishment.
• Order general merchandise from approved suppliers. Communicate with vendors and select items for order.
• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Readily adjust schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs.
• Review department operating record and make adjustments to meet budget objectives.
• Analyze daily/weekly sales reports and propose product movement and rotation, including between onsite and online channels.
• Audit regularly to ensure standard operating procedures are being adhered to.
• Assist customers with locating product; listen to customer comments and provide an excellent customer experience.
• Instruct and train department employees in their responsibilities; complete employee performance evaluations.
• Check on recalls; remove product and return as directed.
• Verify billing and paperwork. Record delivery of merchandise, compare records with merchandise order, and report discrepancies to control costs and maintain correct inventory levels.
• Develop display techniques for effective merchandising. Hang price tags and face product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position is eligible for a semi-annual bonus from 0 - 20% of base wages considering company performance and position goals met.

Note: Benefit eligibility may vary based on role, length of service, store location, hours worked, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

• You must be at least 18+ years of age or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check

Education & Experience

• Previous minimum of one-year experience in a general merchandise department.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, carry, and push up to 40 pounds at times.
