Target is seeking a General Merchandise team member to create an easy, inspiring guest experience and keep shelves well stocked at our Columbus store. You will greet guests, help them find items, and process transactions with care in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to varying tasks such as restocking, signaling, and price adjustments as needed. Flexible hours and physical tasks are expected.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends and inventory replenishment.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments: greet guests and assist as needed.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and ensure accuracy in checkout.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Assist with receiving products, restocking shelves, and maintaining backroom organization.
