Target is hiring a General Merchandise Expert to support guest needs and maintain an inviting store environment. You will assist with replenishment, pricing, signage, and backroom organization to ensure product availability and an easy shopping experience.

The role requires adaptability to a fast-paced retail setting with nights, weekends, and peak hours. Training covers store operations, safety, and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments.
• Greet guests and provide a welcoming interaction at various distances (10ft/4ft).
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and maintain a positive attitude.
• Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a respectful attitude.
• Execute daily tasks such as receiving products, restocking, pricing, and signage to support GM priorities.
