Job summary

Target in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to deliver an easy, inspiring guest experience and help guests find what they need. You will join a fast-paced team that values service, efficiency and product availability.

Able to work a flexible schedule with nights, weekends and holidays as needed; training is provided to learn stock, pricing, backroom organization and guest support.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring and friendly guest experience.
• Greet guests and assist them to find what they need or resolve issues.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Actively support team efforts and assist peers.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, merchandise setup and maintenance.
• Follow Target policies and safety procedures.
• Assist with back-up cashier and digital fulfillment tasks.
