Job summary

Target in Missouri is seeking a General Merchandise Expert to help guests find products, stock shelves, and support pricing and sign updates for a smooth shopping experience.

You will work with a team to greet guests, assist with needs, and resolve issues while maintaining store standards and safety. Flexibility for varied shifts including nights and weekends is expected as part of this role.

Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store
• Experience in retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on commitments such as greeting guests, assisting with product searches and resolving issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest interaction with a sincere thank you and support teammates to meet store goals
• Learn and follow operational procedures for setting, stocking, pricing and maintaining merchandise and backroom organization
