DirectShifts seeks a General Medicine physician to conduct VA Compensation & Pension disability evaluations, review veterans' medical records, and perform comprehensive examinations. You will accurately complete DBQs and related reports, documenting findings clearly and within timelines.

The role requires strict adherence to VA guidelines, HIPAA, and applicable regulations, with flexible scheduling (FT/PT/PRN) and no ongoing patient management.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible General Medicine Physician (MD/DO).
• Active, unrestricted MD, DO license.
• Experience with disability evaluations or related medical fields preferred.
• Strong documentation and record-review skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform VA C&P disability examinations.
• Review Veterans' medical records before each evaluation.
• Conduct comprehensive General Medicine examinations.
• Accurately complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and reports.
• Document findings clearly and on time.
• Maintain compliance with VA guidelines, HIPAA, and applicable regulations.
