The University of Scranton is seeking a General Mechanic to perform minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry work across campus. The role will involve occasional large-scale trash removal and snow removal duties, with early starts as weather dictates.
This essential position requires physical work, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. The role supports campus operations, including move-in and event setups, and may include custodial tasks during emergencies.

The position also entails large-scale garbage pickup and will be diverted to help with snow removal work, pending weather conditions.
This position is considered essential personnel and is expected to be available in the event of emergencies
