Job Title: General Mechanic (253196)

Job Description: Performs skilled maintenance, repairs, and a variety of maintenance and engineering duties for the Facilities Management Department. Works regularly with Facilities Management Staff, collaborates on projects with other trade mechanics, conducts rounds, and reports discrepancies to the Director of Facilities or Facilities Management Staff. Assists with work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Has a general working knowledge of maintenance and repair areas. Performs equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on equipment and facility structures. Works independently and performs duties not directly related to licensed trades.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Trade School in any trade (Preferred)

Experience:

• 2 Years experience in General Maintenance or related field (Required)

License/Certifications:

• Driver's License (Required)
