Job Description

Repair and maintain all appliances and mechanical equipment, and perform preventative maintenance as requested by the Engineering Office.

Compensation: $31.13 - 41.51 (Hourly Rate)

DUTIES:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Maintain the laundry equipment
• Maintain the kitchen equipment
• Maintain all lighting throughout hotel
• Painting for all areas of hotel including prepping and sanding for all related jobs
• Maintain all HVAC units
• Maintain all motors, belts, bearings, etc.
• Maintain all shop tools and equipment
• Assist the Fire Prevention Officer to maintain the Life Safety machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled by the Engineering Office
• Perform all necessary welding as required
• Complete all work orders pertaining to the hotel
• Assist other trades as required
• Conduct rounds of specified areas
• Install and remove microphones as requested
• Answer all calls and perform repairs; if unable to do repairs, notify the supervisor of the problem
• Log all calls in the log book
• Perform chemical tests for boilers, chillers, swimming pool, etc.
• Operate BMS computer system
• Be part of the fire response team; also on standby in the event of emergencies
