Job Description

Purpose of the Role: The General Manager provides strategic and tactical leadership for their restaurant. This manager must maintain operations and drive results through people development, sales, and profit growth. They must hire, train, and develop team members who share Wingstop's mission to Serve the World Flavor. The GM should convey the culture, foster a positive environment, and demonstrate dedication to the brand's success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • People Management: Responsible for staffing, safety, onboarding, performance management, final hiring and separations, scheduling, and creating a respectful, rewarding culture.
  • Financial Management: Oversee operations, analyze budgets, control costs, develop business plans, and meet financial targets.
  • Operations Management: Maintain standards, ensure facilities are up to standards, communicate effectively, coach team members, and ensure risk management compliance.
Additional Requirements
  • Lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand/walk for up to 10 hours/day.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years in food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial analysis, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work 50-60 hours/week, including weekends and holidays.
