Dreamgolf seeks a General Manager to lead the Wild Spring Dunes resort golf and hospitality experience in East Texas. You will shape culture, build teams, and oversee every detail from groundwork to a thriving destination.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in golf/hospitality leadership, with a track record of growing high-end resorts, strong financial acumen, and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of senior leadership in golf or hospitality with experience creating community for guests.
• Proven success in launching or managing high-end golf resorts or mixed-use hospitality properties.
• Passion for building great teams and growing lasting golf communities.
• Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience managing complex budgets and P&Ls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall development, launch, and ongoing management of the resort golf experience.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve growth targets, optimize revenue streams, and enhance the guest experience.
• Build, lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of hospitality, excellence, collaboration, and best-in-class service.
• Establish and maintain high standards for resort operations, customer service, and facility management.
• Oversee budgeting, staffing, and performance metrics for all departments.
• Oversee employment activities, including recruitment, performance evaluations, training, and disciplinary actions.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the resort.
• Analyze financial performance, monitor KPIs, and implement strategies to optimize profitability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Champion brand storytelling and marketing that attracts guests.
• Foster relationships with industry partners, local leaders, potential investors and the broader community.
• Plan and execute events, promotions, and programs that create wow moments to enhance engagement and community involvement.

Who We Are

Wild Spring Dunes spans more than 2,400 secluded acres in the Piney Woods of East Texas — towering pine and hardwood forests, open meadows, rolling hills, and spring-fed ravines. The land laid out its own logic, and the golf courses follow it: the first course, designed by Tom Doak, opened for full play in September 2026, with a second course from Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw planned. A short course, practice center, clubhouse and lodge, cabins, homesites, and F&B outlets round out the vision.

Your role

As General Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind establishing an industry-leading golf and hospitality resort experience. You will shape the culture, build the teams, and oversee every detail of our operations—from the earliest groundwork to a thriving, world-class destination. This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow a new, high-profile golf destination. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in golf course management and hospitality, with a proven track record of driving growth and maximizing operational excellence.

Strategic Leadership & Hospitality Operations

• Oversee the overall development, launch, and ongoing management of the resort golf experience


• Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve growth targets, optimize revenue streams, and enhance the guest experience
