Job summary

Lineage is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to provide strategic direction and run a small warehouse in Michigan. You will lead a team, manage budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across receiving, storage, and distribution.

The role emphasizes cost control, KPI delivery (LTR, turn times, service levels), and collaboration with Sales on account strategies and quoting. Lean/Six Sigma approaches drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years' Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with Six Sigma and/or LEAN continuous improvement.
• Experience training and developing people in operation roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and WMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct, recruit, train, and develop direct reports for productivity.
• Achieve KPI goals including Labor to Revenue, truck turn times, and service.
• Review warehouse activities and costs to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales to plan accounts, quotes, and contracts.
• Ensure facilities focus on customer service and client relationships.
• Monitor budgets, capex, and space utilization to targets.
• Support safety and food quality standards in line with Lineage policies.
• Lead discussions, present results, and communicate with non-technical audiences.
