The Role:
The General Manager of Sky View Observatory in Seattle, WA, is the primary strategic business leader responsible for all aspects of venue marketing, operations, guest experience, event innovation, financial performance, sales, and stakeholder ROI. The GM ensures best practices are implemented to exceed guest expectations and increase profits. The role involves guiding the property leadership team, leveraging sales engines, engaging with the community, and managing relationships with influencers, media, and partners.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing business strategies.
- Managing sales, marketing, and talent development.
- Building owner relations and community engagement.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Overseeing financial and operational performance.
- Leading a team of professionals across various departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, hospitality, or related field; practical experience may be considered.
- 10+ years of management experience in attractions, entertainment, or related industries.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic skills.
- Experience in sales, marketing, and venue operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
