The Attractions vertical offers unparalleled experiences with spectacular views and cutting-edge technology, managing tours, ticket sales, hospitality, events, and sponsorships to elevate guest experiences.

VENUE

Sky View Observatory (“SVO”), located on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center in Downtown Seattle, offers breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views including Mt. Rainier, Bellevue, the Cascades, Mt. Baker, Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, and the Space Needle.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, the Event & Sales Coordinator will support sales and marketing activities, organize and execute events, and coordinate with internal teams and building management to ensure smooth operations. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Assist with managing details for booked events, group sales, and corporate functions.
  2. Handle client inquiries and follow up on booked details to meet client needs.
  3. Maintain CRM systems (Salesforce, Tripleseat) with client and event data.
  4. Generate reports on events, sales, and revenue performance.
  5. Coordinate event logistics, including vendor communication and catering.
  6. Create BEO and Run of Show documents, informing departments of event details.
  7. Track event expenses to stay within budgets.
  8. Provide operational support on event days, ensuring all tasks are completed.
  9. Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
  10. Serve as the primary client contact during events, managing last-minute requests.
  11. Update and organize event collateral, create print materials, and manage social media content related to events and promotions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of service experience, preferably in hospitality, catering, or events.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-50 pounds.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
