Neal Tire, a long-standing family business, seeks a Retail General Manager to lead a dedicated store team, oversee operations, and maximize profitability through disciplined inventory and budget controls, while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role is in-person in Columbus, Indiana, with Monday–Friday schedule and weekend availability as needed; leadership duties include coaching, scheduling, and ensuring safety and strong community ties.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the team through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Manage the store’s financial health by monitoring sales, inventory/cash controls, store-level marketing, customer satisfaction/retention, and handling P&L responsibility.
• Adhere and comply with all company policies, rules, and regulations as established.
• Maintain a strong relationship between the store and the surrounding community.
• Utilize recruiting tools and sound interview techniques to build a strong team with high retention.
• Develop employee schedules effectively to meet operational needs.
• Set the example for exceptional customer service, to include appropriate resolution of customer complaints.
• Maintain a safe workplace environment by adhering to all safety procedures.
• Foster a positive store culture, treating teammates fairly and with respect.
• Ensure the building, equipment, and grounds are well maintained.
• Maintain a strong relationship between the store and the surrounding community.

Job Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Education Requirements:

• Management: 3 Years (Required)
• Customer Service 1-3 Years (Required)

Physical Demands:

• Stand and sit continuously and perform job functions for a full 8-hour shift w/ lunch break
• Lift and/or move tires weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without mechanical assistance
• Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and stretching
