Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Georgia seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead high-volume, multi-facet restaurant operations and fresh kitchen. You will oversee staff, drive sales, ensure food safety and quality, and manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.

The role emphasizes leadership, accountability, and delivering exceptional customer service while controlling budgets and improving dining experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years managing operations with $1M+ annual sales volume.
• 2+ years handling budgets and P&L statements.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with proper food safety adherence.
• Drive sales through ordering, stocking, inventory management and food prep.
• Assist General Manager with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, talent development, and reporting.
• Train and develop team to prepare and package customer orders efficiently and meet service expectations.
• Understand financial reporting including profit and loss to drive business changes.
• Address customer feedback to improve the dining experience.

Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
• Assist the General Manager with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Work alongside team members to train and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations.
• Understandfinancial reporting, which includes profit and loss statements to affect business changes and capitalize on opportunities.
• Addressing customer feedback and working to improve the overall dining experience.

Requirements:

• 2+ years restaurant management experience.
• 2+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1M+.
• 2+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

Skills and Demands:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
• Must be able to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.
