HD Supply is seeking a General Manager to launch and lead Redi Carpet's newest market in the Charleston area. The role focuses on building a high‑performing team, driving sales, customer success, and operational excellence while expanding the company’s presence in a high‑potential market.

You will develop relationships with property managers, owners, and multifamily partners, oversee Sales, Administration and Operations, and ensure policy adherence across the branch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years management experience and/or sales management experience.
• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline; 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• Oversees P&L statements for branch and achieves budgeted sales and income goals.
• Supports regional and national account programs.

Job Summary

Responsible for all activities associated with operating the business, including managing the Sales, Administration and Operations departments. Ensure all policies and procedures and being followed by employees in branch.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Work Environment

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
