ExperiGreen in Michigan is seeking a General Manager to oversee the lawn care and chemical services branch with over $7M in revenue, guiding operations, profitability, and strategic direction. You will lead supervisors, optimize routes, manage inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance to deliver top-tier service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, horticulture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree or certifications in related areas is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years in the lawn care, landscaping, or chemical services industry, with at least 5 years in management.
• Experience managing large teams, driving revenue growth, and overseeing complex operations.
• P&L, budgeting, and strategic planning experience; applicator license(s) by state required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the management of daily field operations, ensuring all services are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of supervisors and support staff to ensure they meet performance and quality goals.
• Oversee the management of scheduling, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs.
• Responsible for management of branch inventory (chemicals, tools, and equipment).
• Monitor service delivery to ensure that customer expectations are met, resolve service issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Report performance results to senior management and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Develop and manage the branch budget, focusing on cost control and maximizing profitability.
• Ensure that the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use, chemical application, and worker safety. Manage audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
