Job summary

ExperiGreen is seeking a General Manager to oversee lawn care and chemical services operations, profitability, and strategic direction for a branch with revenue over $7M. You will lead field operations, manage a large team, optimize routes, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive customer satisfaction.

This role requires 7+ years in lawn care or related industry with 5+ years in management, a bachelor’s in a related field, and relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, horticulture, or related field or equivalent experience is required.
• Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in business management or industry-related areas) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the management of daily field operations, ensuring all services are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of supervisors and support staff to ensure they meet performance and quality goals.
• Oversee the management of scheduling, ensuring optimal route planning and resource utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize operational costs.
• Responsible for management of branch inventory (chemicals, tools, and equipment).
• Monitor service delivery to ensure that customer expectations are met, resolve service issues promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Report performance results to senior management and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Develop and manage the branch budget, focusing on cost control and maximizing profitability.
• Ensure that the company adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide use, chemical application, and worker safety. Manage audits and inspections to maintain compliance.
