Job summary

Real Property Management Diversified in New York State is seeking a General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and grow our portfolio. You’ll own operations, guide a team, and serve as the primary escalation point for owners, delivering performance insights and strategic directions.

You will drive leasing, operations, and client relations with a focus on scalable systems, compliance, and growth through proactive business development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of general management experience; real estate leadership preferred.
• Deep knowledge of residential leasing and landlord-tenant law.
• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all property management operations, including leasing, maintenance coordination, inspections, and move-in/move-out processes.
• Ensure properties are leased quickly and to qualified tenants through effective marketing and screening practices.
• Monitor and enforce lease compliance, handle renewals, and manage vacancy reduction strategies.
• Maintain operational systems and workflows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across the portfolio.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of property managers, leasing agents, and administrative staff.
• Drive growth and business development through owner acquisition and portfolio expansion.
