Our first robot, Rufus, automates the installation of shingles on steep slope roofs, and makes roofing safer and more productive. About the Job:

We are looking for a General Manager of Roofing to build our residential roofing operations and lead our roofing team. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day roofing crews, driving operational excellence, and ensuring top-tier service for the roofing contractors we serve. You will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our engineering team to integrate our robots onto job sites, shaping the future of safety and productivity in roofing.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations:

• Oversee and optimize the scheduling, efficiency, and performance of roofing crews.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.
• Enforce safety and compliance regulations.
• Support the integration of robots onto the job site in coordination with Renovate’s engineering team.
• Own and manage the P&L for the residential roofing division, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow revenue and improve margins.
• Track financial performance, identify key metrics, and drive continuous improvement.

Customer Relations:

• Serve as a primary point of contact to roofing contractors - our customers
• Build and maintain strong relationships to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with customers and suppliers.

Leadership and Team Management:

• Recruit, train, and manage roofing crews and support staff.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and performance.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience in the residential roofing industry
• Strong leadership and operational management experience
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
