Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix is seeking a seasoned Bar General Manager to lead our bars, craft memorable guest experiences, and drive profitability across high-volume outlets.

You will oversee daily operations, collaborate with the Executive Chef to shape seasonal menus, manage budgets and labor, train staff, mentor team members, and ensure health and safety standards while delivering exceptional service to VIP guests and groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in bar or hospitality management, preferably in a resort or high-volume setting.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Excellent guest service skills and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal menus and control food costs.

Hotel Website, Instagram, FacebookWhat you will have an opportunity to do:The General Manager of Bars manages, directs and organizes Bar operations to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSOperational Management:Oversee daily operations of the bars, ensuring seamless and efficient execution.Maintain high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and overall guest experience.Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop seasonal menus, optimize kitchen operations, and maintain food cost control.Create cocktails that fit the theme of the outletMonitor the outlets, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment with attention to presentation and guest preferences.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for service efficiency and consistency.Financial & Business Management:Develop and manage budgets, revenue goals, and cost-control measures.Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and implement strategies to improve profitability.Oversee pricing strategies, menu engineering, and promotional events to drive sales.Manage labor costs, staff scheduling, and productivity.Team Leadership & Development:Recruit, train, and lead a team of outlet servers, bartenders, and support staff.Foster a positive, professional, and guest-focused work environment.Conduct regular staff training on service standards, upselling techniques, and guest engagement.Perform performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.Guest Experience & Service Excellence:Ensure an elevated and seamless experience for guests, in the outletsHandle guest inquiries, feedback, and service recovery in a professional and timely manner.Work closely with the front office and concierge teams to accommodate VIP requests, special dietary needs, and personalized experiences.Monitor guest satisfaction metrics and implement strategies to enhance service quality.Conduct table touches with all guests going through the outlets to ensure satisfaction. Maintain constant floor presence during peak and need times.Assist in any other Outlet based on Operation needs and as assigned by ManagementMarketing & Promotions:Collaborate with the marketing team to create and promote events, seasonal offerings, and seasonal specials.Analyze market trends and guest preferences to enhance their experiences.Utilize guest engagement tools, loyalty programs, and social media to drive revenue.What are we looking for?EducationBachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (preferred).ExperienceMinimum 5+ years in bar or hospitality management, preferably in a resort or high-volume setting.Compensation:-Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
