Job summary

The Arizona Biltmore, a Pyramid Global Hospitality property, seeks a Food & Beverage Manager to lead McArthur's dining operations. You will hire, train, supervise, and coach staff, ensuring exceptional service and profitable operations.

Experience in luxury hotel F&B leadership is preferred; a high school diploma is required, and a bachelor’s degree is a plus. You will manage budgets, inventory, and standards to deliver Forbes-level guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, direct, coach, counsel, and evaluate staff in food & beverage operations.

• Assign and instruct Beverage staff in details of work.
• Develop and implement basic operating standards for F&B service.
• Maximize department profitability and monitor budget and costs.
• Maintain inventory and par stock levels for liquor and supplies.

Hotel Website, Instagram, FacebookWhat you will have an opportunity to do:McArthur's is named after the resort's architectural inspirations serving New American cuisine with hints of the Sonoran Desert delivering a creative fusion of meticulously sourced ingredients brought from farm to table in a menu of comforting delight.The McArthur's Food and Beverage Manager directs and administers sales of food and beverage in restaurants and lounge.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSHire, train, supervise, direct, coach, counsel, and evaluate staff in food & beverage operations throughout the Hotel. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to the staff. Assign and instruct Beverage staff in details of work. Observe performance and encourage improvement were necessary.Field customer complaints by conducting thorough research of the situation in order to choose the most effective solutions. Make decisions and take actions based on previous experience and good judgement, sometimes revising procedures to accommodate unusual situations. Communicate with guests and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.Develop and implement basic operating standards for Food & Beverage service in compliance with federal, state, local and Hilton's own practices as well as Forbes standards. (e.g. Employee Alcohol Awareness Training and Compliance)Maximize department profitability; implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs and monitor the Outlet’s budget to ensure efficient operations, including achieving budgeted revenue and labor expenses. Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory, ordering, retrieving, and stocking product. Evaluate cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation. Develop and implement cost saving and profit enhancement measures.
