Job summary

Taziki's Café in Nolensville, Tennessee is seeking an experienced restaurant manager to lead daily operations, manage your store’s P&L, and set a path to cost goals while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. You will write weekly staff schedules, coach and mentor front- and back-of-house teams, maintain health department standards, and drive food quality, safety, and training.

Strong leadership, communication, and recruitment skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of upper management experience in a restaurant.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to recruit, train, retain, and motivate quality employees.
• Experience with restaurant P&L statements.
• Google Suite proficiency and general computer literacy.
• Desire to exceed guests’ expectations in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Manager certification or ability to obtain shortly after starting.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing store’s P&L and planning path to cost goals.
• Writing weekly staff schedules balancing development and labor costs.
• Setting shift tone and providing clear directions to staff.
• Mentoring staff and managing training, motivation, and evaluations.
• Being an expert in Food Safety and maintaining standards.
• Mastering menu and product knowledge.
• Preparing catering orders with the team.
• Supporting or working stations as needed (kitchen included).
• Ordering products, supplies, and produce.
• Screening, interviewing, and onboarding hourly employees.
• Proper cash handling and payment procedures.
• Serving guests and making meaningful connections.
• Maintaining Health Department Standards.
• Following Alcohol Handling policies.
• Ensuring proper food handling and storage.
• Maintaining hygiene, uniform, and appearance.

Your Working Conditions / Hours

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

• Morning shift - 7am - 4pm
• Mid shift - 10am to 8pm
• Evenings - 3pm - 10pm
• Weekends - when applicable
• Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You may work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.
