Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its manufacturing site in Los Angeles, California. This position will lead site performance and champion People and Culture, Development, Safety, Environmental Compliance, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and People Leadership. The facility manufacturespolyurethane materials serving the aerospace, automotive, energy, and industrial markets.

WORK AUTHORIZATION

Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders. No visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Within the first 6–12 months, the successful leader will help establish:

• Strong, visible safety leadership throughout the site
• Consistent production, quality, and delivery performance
• Improved reliability, capacity, and cost performance

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing
• 5+ years leading multi-functional manufacturing operations
• Demonstrated leadership across safety, quality, operational excellence, financial performance, and people development
• Experience managing operating budgets, capital projects, and cross-functional teams

Preferred:

• MBA or advanced technical degree
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
• Specialty chemical manufacturing experience
