Job summary

The Hopewell Inn, part of Genesis Hospitality, seeks a Full-Time General Manager to lead the restaurant with a strong focus on courteous service and staff leadership. The role requires willingness to work weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays while upholding high standards of guest experience.

Responsibilities include overseeing all restaurant operations, inventory control with the Executive Chef, and ensuring compliance with policy and quality standards.

• Monitor and maintain store inventory pars alongside the Executive Chef
• Maintain a very clean work environment
• Monitor day-to-day events of restaurant
• Record all deliveries (paper, produce etc.) and any errors
• Coach and support new and existing staff members
• Oversee the closing of the till and restaurant
• Weekly trip to the bank
• Oversee reservations and work with Assistant Manager to make sure all reservations are confirmed and prepared for
• Maintain all temperature logs, waste and inventory sheets
• Make sure all employees follow company policies and guidelines
• Maintain professionalism and set an example for all staff
