Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Kingstowne, located at 5830 Kingstowne Towne Ctr, Alexandria, VA 22315, is seeking a dynamic Spa Leader! The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of leadership experience, is a self-starter, and excels in driving sales while fostering a positive team environment. As a General Manager in Training (GMIT), you will focus on front desk operations, client experience, and sales performance, with a clear pathway to management roles. Promotion timelines depend on market growth, role availability, and performance, but our goal is continuous leadership development. Compensation Package: Our competitive package includes an hourly base rate, uncapped commissions, and bonuses, with GMITs earning up to $45,000 annually based on performance.
As a General Manager in Training, you will:
  • Achieve performance goals such as Membership Conversion, Booking Efficiency, Call Conversion, and Gift Card Sales
  • Lead the front desk team to exceed sales and performance targets
  • Provide exceptional guest experiences, measured by our Service Level Standard scores
  • Manage daily front desk operations
  • Assist in overall business operations
  • Train, monitor, and coach team members
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new front desk staff
  • Educate clients on services and benefits
  • Promote sales, promotions, and events
  • Maintain spa cleanliness standards
  • Handle administrative functions such as sales reporting and cash handling
The GMIT role involves a varied schedule, including weekends, days, nights, and holidays; flexible availability is preferred.

Role Requirements
  • Passion for people and excellent service
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Willingness to travel for training or conferences

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs/Sheets; knowledge of Zenoti or similar systems is a plus
