Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa Annapolis, located at 2480 Solomons Island Rd, Annapolis, MD 21401, is searching for a results-driven Spa Leader! The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of leadership experience, is proactive, and excels in driving sales while fostering a positive team environment. As a General Manager in Training (GMIT), you will focus on front desk operations, client experience, and sales, with a pathway to future management roles. Promotions depend on market growth, role availability, and performance, but our goal is ongoing leadership development. Compensation Package: We offer a competitive hourly rate, uncapped commissions, and bonuses, with average annual earnings up to $45,000 based on performance.

As a GM in Training, your responsibilities include:

  • Achieving performance goals such as Membership Conversion, Booking Efficiency, Call Conversion, and Gift Card Sales
  • Leading the front desk team to meet sales and performance targets
  • Providing exceptional guest service
  • Managing daily front desk operations
  • Supporting the General Manager in overall business operations
  • Training, coaching, and recruiting team members
  • Educating clients on services and promotions
  • Maintaining spa cleanliness standards
  • Handling administrative tasks like sales reporting and cash handling

The schedule includes weekends, evenings, holidays, and flexible hours.

Role Requirements:

  • Passion for customer service and communication
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays
  • Ability to travel for training and meetings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fast learner with a positive attitude
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Docs; experience with Zenoti is a plus
  • Team player capable of working independently
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Customer conflict resolution skills
