Job summary

Corgi Cafe in New York City is seeking a General Manager for our 24/7 coffee and workspace cafe in the Financial District. You will oversee daily operations, lead a team, and ensure exceptional service for a late-night crowd of founders, engineers, and remote workers.

The role requires CFPM certification, onsite presence, and a flexible schedule including weekends and overnight shifts. Competitive pay of $70k–$80k with employee discounts and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older.
• Ability to stand for a full shift and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable with overnight or weekend shifts; not required for all applicants.
• Prior barista or food service experience preferred, not required. We train.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, matcha, and smoothies to spec.
• Run the register and handle cash and card transactions.
• Keep the bar, counter, and seating area clean and stocked.
• Support event setup for occasional evening meetups hosted at the cafe.
