Job summary

Adolfson & Peterson Construction is seeking a General Manager to lead the Bismarck division's project management, ensuring alignment with AP's goals and mission. You will provide strategic leadership for the sub-region, manage internal operations, and develop new opportunities while maintaining client interfaces and regional planning.

The role requires a bachelor’s in CM/engineering, 10+ years of PM experience, and 4+ years of people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or equivalent is required.
• 10+ years of construction project management experience or completion of an associates degree in construction management with 12+ years of related project management experience.
• 4+ years of people management experience is required.
• Advanced proficiency with scheduling, spreadsheets, cost control, and project management software (Prolog, MS Project, P6).
• Solid understanding of value engineering, life cycle costing, and project profit/cost processes.
• Ability to read and comprehend building plans and specifications; estimating experience preferred.
• Experience with multiple contract types under CMR and Design-Build delivery methods.
