Job Title: General Manager – Café & Wellness

Location: Sacred Society, Denver, CO

Position Type: Full-Time

Hours: 45-50 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed

Our Highlands-based sanctuary offers a curated blend of sensory wellness services, a nourishing café, and transformative programming—all designed to foster individual growth within a supportive collective.

Your Role

As General Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our flagship location, ensuring excellence across our café, wellness services, and immersive guest experiences. This is a highly visible leadership role that balances operational precision with emotional intelligence. You will manage a cross-functional team, uphold the integrity of our offerings, and serve as a steward of Sacred Society’s brand and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize daily operations across:
    • Café and beverage service
    • Wellness modalities
    • Guided practices and classes
  • Lead, train, and develop a multidisciplinary team with clarity and compassion.
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring a consistently warm and attentive guest experience.
  • Manage scheduling, staffing levels, onboarding, and performance reviews.
  • Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, and supply management.
  • Monitor financial performance including budgeting, revenue goals, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with marketing and programming teams to support activations, seasonal campaigns, and strategic growth.
  • Implement and uphold operational systems, service protocols, and cleanliness standards.
  • Champion Sacred Society’s values through every touchpoint—team culture, service, and space.
  • Support integration of innovative wellness practices in collaboration with the Practitioner Collective.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Support compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Ideal Candidate

You are a calm and organized leader with a strong hospitality background and deep respect for holistic wellness. You lead by example, communicate clearly, and elevate those around you. You’re as comfortable reviewing revenue reports as you are guiding a new hire or welcoming a guest with sincerity. You hold the vision while managing the details—and bring steadiness to a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality or wellness management, preferably in hybrid environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading large teams and managing cross-departmental operations.
  • Proven experience in financial oversight, scheduling, inventory, and vendor management.
  • Strong knowledge of wellness practices and modalities, or a personal connection to the space.
  • Familiarity with operational tools: Square, 7shifts, Asana, booking platforms, Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working on-site full-time and handling physical tasks when needed.
  • Ability to adapt, prioritize, and lead with presence.
