Veeva Systems is seeking a dedicated, full-time General Manager for Falcon Writer, our flagship AI-driven enterprise software suite for regulatory and medical authoring in Life Sciences. As the single P&L owner, this leader will direct strategy, product development, customer success, and GTM in global pharma accounts.

The role demands a high-energy executive with proven enterprise SaaS leadership in Life Sciences/BioPharma, exceptional communication, and a relentless drive to scale Falcon

Qualifications

• 10+ years of full-time enterprise software leadership in Life Sciences, BioPharma, or Regulatory Tech.
• Proven track record as a dedicated, full-time P&L / BU Leader scaling B2B SaaS solutions in BioPharma.
• Strong commercial acumen with a history of closing and expanding enterprise deals with BioPharma executives.
• Outstanding communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.

The Role

Veeva is seeking a dedicated, full-time General Manager for Falcon Writer, our flagship AI-driven enterprise software suite for regulatory and medical authoring in Life Sciences. As the single P&L owner, this full-time leader will directly manage strategy, product development, customer success, and GTM teams to scale Falcon Writer across top global pharmaceutical enterprise accounts.

This role requires a high-energy leader with the judgment to separate signal from noise, learn quickly, standard-set for operational excellence, and aggressively pursue the needle-moving fights that establish Falcon Writer as an indispensable industry solution. Please note: This position strictly requires a proven track record of full-time enterprise software leadership within Life Sciences, BioPharma, or Regulatory Tech environments.

What You’ll Do

• Drive Market Leadership & Strategy: Formulate and execute the end-to-end vision, long-term roadmap, and go-to-market strategy to establish Falcon Writer as the category leader.
• Ensure Customer Success & Key Deals: Act as an executive sponsor on high-stakes deals, building deep strategic partnerships with key enterprise accounts and ensuring flawless customer adoption and retention.
• Public Face of the Product: Communicate product vision and value in the marketplace. Present at industry conferences. Be the product evangelist.
• Scale Operations & Team Execution: Attract, hire, and retain a high-performing team of A-players. Establish scalable, customer-centric delivery and contracting processes to support rapid business growth.
• Drive Product Innovation & Quality: Partner closely with Product leadership to prioritize core features and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
• P&L & Performance Accountability: Drive accountability across key operational metrics, including revenue targets, services profitability, customer satisfaction, and product delivery milestones.

Requirements

• 10+ years of full-time enterprise software leadership within Life Sciences, BioPharma, or Regulatory Tech environments (fractional, part-time, or contract applicants will not be considered).
• Proven track record as a dedicated, full-time P&L / Business Unit Leader scaling B2B enterprise SaaS solutions to BioPharma accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen with a history of closing, expanding, and supporting strategic enterprise deals with BioPharma executives.
• Exceptional prioritization skills with a sharp focus on quantifiable business outcomes and customer value over vanity metrics.
• Outstanding communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.

• A personality assessment
• Practical case exercise: Candidates will be required to prepare and present an executive presentation based directly on a real-world enterprise software strategy, GTM execution, and P&L scenario from their past full-time experience in the Life Sciences, BioPharma, or Regulatory Tech domain.
• A final conversation with our group's Senior Leader
• Once all interviews are complete, the manager will be in touch with a final decision.

Compensation

• Base pay: $150,000 - $300,000
• The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
