Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Chicago, IL, is seeking a General Manager to lead our ring-rolled dye forging operation. You will oversee safety, quality, delivery, sales, and financial performance for a site with 50+ employees and about $40M+ in annual sales, shaping strategy and people development.

The role requires deep manufacturing leadership, Lean knowledge, and the ability to build customer relationships while driving profitable growth and continuous improvement across all functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, technical field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in a complex, precision-driven manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in a leadership role, with direct reports.
• 2+ years of site leadership experience, with P&L ownership.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the business strategy and plan.
• Lead site operations across manufacturing, quality, engineering, account management, and production planning.
• Ensure safety, cost, quality, inventory and delivery commitments.
• Oversee customer relationships and VOC with Sales to grow the business.
• Drive profitable growth and continuous improvement across the organization.
