Role Overview

The Good Eating Company are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of General Manager to support our client Western Digital in Milpitas, California.

The General Manager will lead a multi-faceted operation that has two cafés, catering, vending and pantry program with a frontline team of 20 employees and 4 managers. We're passionate about delectable, fresh food. We take pride in crafting imaginative and well-balanced dishes daily, with a straightforward philosophy: collaborating with forward thinking organizations that value their members and seek exceptional, creative dining experiences.

What You'll Do

  • The TGEC liaison with the client and owner of client relationships
  • Coordination with internal TGEC resources to deliver a seamless experience for client employees
  • Achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • Mentor a solid team who share same level commitment and passion for hospitality: quality presentation, customer service, professionalism
  • Demonstrate your diplomatic skills to work with customer and clients from around the world

What You Bring

  • A strong background in hospitality and restaurants, and a genuine approach to sharing that passion with the staff and client
  • Work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service
  • Both front and back of house, in addition to food/bar/beverage service, superb guest relations abilities are the key to success of this operation
  • Have strong communication skills, flexibility and adaptability in a fast and frequently changing environment
