Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for directing manufacturing operations and driving operational excellence, strategic growth, and cross‑functional leadership across production, safety, engineering, quality, and sales.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Builds, develops, and manages the manufacturing leadership team capable of carrying out needed manufacturing strategies and improving employee relations
  • Builds and develops the operations organization, processes, and procedures to support strategic direction
  • Directs and oversees the operations budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements
  • Establishes operations initiatives for improvement in safety, delivery, quality, cost, and employee relations
  • Ensures full compliance with rigorous aerospace quality certifications and industry standards, such as AS9100
  • Promotes and enforces a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and procedures
  • Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiencies of daily operations
  • Obtains profit contribution by managing staff and accomplishing business objectives
  • Ensures daily tracking and adherence to budget, adjusting short‑term plans to accommodate revenue dynamics
Minimum Education or Experience
  • 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in the aerospace industry
