Job summary

Regal Cinemas in Wilder, KY is looking for a General Manager to lead the theatre, drive results, and inspire your team while delivering guest experiences worth remembering. You’ll balance business performance with people leadership to build a theatre your staff and guests are proud of.

You’ll own the theatre’s day-to-day operations—from scheduling and reporting to safety, compliance, and guest satisfaction—while coaching staff and optimizing profitability across concessions and facilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team and drive results.
• Strong understanding of day-to-day operations and basic financial management.
• Ability to stay organized with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own theatre performance by monitoring sales and expenses and ensuring operations support business goals.
• Follow policies, handle cash properly, and maintain safety and compliance standards.
• Keep daily operations on track from scheduling to reporting.
• Hire, train, coach, and manage employees while guiding performance and relations.
• Create a great guest experience by setting the service tone and resolving concerns.
• Oversee theatre environment, inventory, and facilities for cleanliness and efficiency.
• Monitor financial results and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
• Oversee concessions and supplies cost control.
• Maintain theatre systems and equipment, including projection and AV functionality.
• Lead by example on the floor during peak times for smooth operations.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of your theatre’s performance, keeping an eye on sales, expenses, and making sure operations run in a way that supports the business
• Make sure everything runs the right way by following company policies, handling cash properly, and staying on top of safety and compliance standards
• Keep daily operations on track, from scheduling and reporting to making sure everything runs smoothly each day
• Build and lead a strong team by hiring, training, coaching, and supporting employees while managing performance and employee relations
• Create a great guest experience by setting the tone for service, stepping in to resolve concerns, and making sure the theatre always looks and feels its best
• Oversee the theatre environment making sure it’s clean, well maintained, fully stocked, and operating efficiently behind the scenes
• Monitor financial and operational results, identifying opportunities to improve performance and drive profitability
• Ensure proper inventory management, ordering, and cost control across concessions and supplies
• Maintain and oversee theatre systems and equipment, including projection and audio-visual functionality
• Lead by example on the floor, supporting your team during peak times and ensuring a smooth, efficient operation

About you

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience, or a post-secondary degree in Business or a related field
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team while driving results
• Strong understanding of day-to-day operations and basic financial management
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with theatre systems and technology is a plus
• Must meet legal requirements for alcohol service where applicable
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
