Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass - Waco, TX is seeking an experienced leader to oversee the collision center on-site, Monday through Friday. You will drive operations, manage budgets, and coach a team to achieve monthly sales, profit, and safety goals.

The role requires proven leadership in collision repair, post-secondary education or equivalent, and strong communication skills. Compensation reflects a generous salary and benefits, with bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Conduct monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings.
• Attend monthly managers meetings.
• Attend trainings and workshops recommended by Senior Leadership Team.

• 2 Yrs + prior leadership position required
• 2 Yrs + prior CCC1 / Mitchell Collision Estimating experience required
• 4 Yrs + prior customer service excellence required

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center.
• Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
• Deliver formal annual performance reviews and informal monthly performance reviews.
• Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center.
• Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times.
• Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booth
• Provide training for all staff as necessary
• Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code.
• Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures.
• Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery dates
• Manage all estimates to ensure labor mix is within established standards.
• Manage store capacity.
• Lead and manage all repair facility personnel.
• Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings .
• Attend monthly managers meetings.
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Senior Leadership Team.
• Store CSI performance review and follow up within 24 hours.

Education and/or Experience Required

• Post-Secondary Education or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role.

• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to consistently demonstrate a successful client experience
• Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills.

Compensation Details: Estimated $75,000 - $100,000 / Year Compensation is commensurate with location, skill, education, and experience.
