Chicken N Pickle is seeking a General Manager to oversee all departments including Pickleball, Events, Catering, Kitchen, Service and Bar. You will lead department heads, drive guest satisfaction, and monitor costs and quality standards in a vibrant, high-volume venue.

We value authentic community connections, staff development, and accountability. The GM role requires a dynamic leader who can manage indoor/outdoor operations across events and everyday service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-service, high volume General Manager experience.
• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, liquor requirements and quality standards.

Chicken N Pickle is a unique, indoor/outdoor family entertainment complex that includes a casual, chef-driven restaurant and sports bar, pickleball courts and professional instruction, space for live entertainment, a variety of yard games and space to lounge outdoors with (or without) your dog. As a General Manager:

To be successful in this role, you’ll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house, as well as events and pickleball activities. The GM will direct and oversee operations in all departments, including Pickleball, Events, Catering, Kitchen, Service / Bar, Hospitality, Community. You will inspire, train, and oversee the departmental managers and develop their skills and accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily Front of the House, Pickleball and Back of the House operations
• Supervise and evaluate department managers
• Hire and terminate teammates, with department managers
• Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Oversee staffing levels and Cost of Goods
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
• Compliance with all local, city, state and federal Alcohol laws and guidelines
• Manage and protect Chicken N Pickle’s brand and innovate ways to improve the brand
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
• Promote the brand locally through community and restaurant events
• Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. social media, community relationships, Happy Hour etc)
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
• Promote continuous skill development through online courses, coaching and training programs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-service, high volume General Manager experience
• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Knowledge of Food Safety, liquor requirements and quality standards
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like HotSchedules, Point of Sale and accounting software.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Financial management skills
• BS degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.
• Perform in an active, fast paced, indoor and outdoor venue, during inclement weather, holidays, weekends and nights.
