Job summary

Riser Fitness, owner of multiple Club Pilates studios, is seeking a General Manager to oversee all studio functions from sales to instructors. You will lead sales efforts, drive membership growth, and reduce attrition while hiring, training, and managing Sales Associates within the studio.

The General Manager will use discretion to manage the studio and guide staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and adherence to studio policies in a full-time role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage four revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training.
• Strong writing and grammar; highly organized with data management.
• Proficiency with computers and studio software (ClubReady).
• Trustworthy, professional, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation through Grass Roots Marketing and Networking.
• Implement sales processes to convert prospects to Intro classes.
• Sell memberships and manage staff scheduling.
• Ensure inventory accuracy for studio retail products.
• Train and supervise Sales Associates; hire/manage instructors.
• Proficiency in ClubReady including revenue and attendance reporting.
• Mentor and discipline instructors as needed; deliver high-level customer service.
• Schedule and participate in community events and studio promotions.
• Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio.

With over 70 locations, Riser Fitness is one of the nation's largest multi-unit developers of the Club Pilates franchise system as well as one of the longest operating franchisees in the country.

Position

The General Manager will oversee all studio functions from sales to instructors. They will lead all sales efforts; drive membership growth and endeavor to prevent member attrition. The General Manager will hire, train and manage Sales Associates within their studio.

The General Manager will utilize discretion and independent judgment in managing the studio and directing the work of employees.

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience.


• Confident in generating personal sales and training Sales Associates in sales


• Ability to manage and drive 4 revenue streams: memberships, retail, private training, and teacher training


• Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
