Job summary

Capital Ale House is seeking a capable restaurant operations leader to ensure quality service, timely deadlines, and profitability across a Richmond-area location. You will mentor managers, conduct interviews, and oversee staff training to support growth and guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes safety, staff development, and effective communication as part of a broader management team within a hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Able to bend at the waist and lift items up to 50 lbs to waist level.
• Must be able to move items up to 30 lbs for distances up to 25 feet.
• Able to remain standing and active for a 12-hour shift, including stairs.

Responsibilities

• Hosts monthly Associate and Assistant Manager meetings within their restaurant.
• Performs one inventory per month with an Associate Manager
• Monitors safety and security of the restaurant and managers; first contact for Security System Provider.
• Designated as a company spokesperson.

Job Summary

• Communicates with on duty Associate and Assistant Managers operational issues concerning the quality of service, cleanliness, and efficient operations.
• Ensures the timeliness of financial and operational deadlines.
• Monitors the profitability of the restaurant’s operations and acts upon deficiencies.
• Identifies areas of need within the operation and corrects problems.
• Assists in the development of all managers and potential managers within the company to ready them and the company for future growth.
• Interviews every potential staff member within a multiple interview process.
• Monitors the completion of and adherence to staff training program.
• Ensures the safety and security of the guests by adhering to the Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy of the company.
• All guest and staff members must be treated with dignity and respect.
