Overview

The General Manager is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operations, from sales and marketing to finance and product delivery. Directs the organization's operations function and oversees recurring or daily functions or processes necessary for business execution and identifies opportunities for improvement or efficiencies. Develop strategies to assist the organization in meeting its critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible. Approves and allocates resources based on business priorities.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

  • Experience Requirement:
  • Minimum five (5) years professional management experience.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Sales strategy and customer relations
  • Apparel decoration and promotional item industry knowledge
  • Contract operations and contract pricing expertise
  • Quality assurance background
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to create standard operating procedures.
  • Capable of working with peers and associates from other departments, sites, and the business community in a proactive and constructive manner.
  • Ability to successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions and meetings.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn GCE technology software and programs.
  • Must possess creative thinking skills.
  • Must possess strong mentoring skills.
  • Must maintain knowledge of current industry best practices.
  • Must be able to advocate/work with people with disabilities.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy.
  • Must be able to pass all required regulatory/security background screening.

Physical Requirements

May travel to and from various locations and buildings throughout the year and in various weather conditions. Most work will take place indoors. May work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow the Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. Schedules are subject to change. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours as well as weekends and holidays.

While performing this job's duties, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive), and lift up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
