Job summary

Retro Fitness Houston is looking for a General Manager who will run a high volume club, owning results across sales, fitness, and operations. You will set the tone for members and staff, leading with urgency and daily execution.

You will own membership growth and personal training revenue, building a high performing team and upholding Retro Fitness standards through daily leadership. This is ownership with real upside.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years leading teams of 5 to 15 people.
• 3 to 5 years in fitness, retail, or hospitality.
• Proven experience driving sales and retention.
• Comfortable owning performance metrics and budgets.
• Strong communicator who can coach and correct in the moment.
• High accountability and hands on leadership style.
• CPR certified or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across Sales, Fitness, Front Desk, and Cleaning.
• Own membership growth, personal training revenue, and retention.
• Build and hold accountable a high performing team.
• Reinforce Retro Fitness standards through daily example.
• Be visible on the floor coaching staff and engaging members.
• Resolve member issues with confidence and professionalism.
• Manage schedules, payroll accuracy, and staffing coverage.
• Track key metrics and manage the club to budget.
• Partner closely with your Regional Manager on strategy and results.
• Work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays except Christmas.

Compensation

Competitive base salary based on experience, plus monthly and quarterly bonuses tied directly to club performance. Personal training commissions provide additional earning potential.
